Gato Partners with Leading GCC Financial Institutions

Strategic partnerships expand Gato's presence in Gulf Cooperation Council markets with localized compliance support.
Gato Systems is expanding its Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) coverage, with implementation and support capability in place for firms operating in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Qatar. Client names are withheld under the confidentiality terms of the relevant agreements; reference calls can be arranged on request for firms in active evaluation.
The engagements cover institutional trading infrastructure, regulatory reporting, and risk management configured to each market's rulebook rather than to a single regional template. Scope varies by client, from FIX connectivity alone to connectivity plus pre-trade risk and reporting.
The GCC region represents one of the world's most dynamic growth opportunities for financial technology. Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative is driving unprecedented reform in capital markets, with Tadawul attracting increasing international investment. The UAE's ADX and DFM continue to expand their product offerings, while Bahrain and Qatar are establishing themselves as regional fintech hubs.
Gato's technology stack is uniquely positioned to serve this market. Our modular architecture allows firms to adopt specific capabilities—such as FIX connectivity for cross-border trading or regulatory reporting for local compliance—without requiring a full platform migration. This flexibility is critical in a region where regulatory frameworks vary significantly between jurisdictions.
As part of these partnerships, Gato has established a regional support center to provide localized implementation assistance, compliance guidance, and ongoing technical support. The center operates during GCC business hours and includes team members with deep expertise in regional market structure and regulation.
"The GCC is one of the most exciting regions in global capital markets today," said Tim Connelly, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gato Systems. "Our work in the region reflects a commitment to technology that respects local market structure while connecting firms to global liquidity."
