We're united by a shared commitment to building technology that earns trust and opens markets.
We bridge global markets with local insight. Our team spans continents and cultures, and we believe diverse perspectives build better products.
In financial markets, trust is everything. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of transparency, security, and compliance in everything we build.
We push the boundaries of what's possible in FinTech infrastructure. Every team member is empowered to challenge assumptions and ship bold solutions.
We succeed when our clients succeed. We think like partners, not vendors. Going beyond software to open doors with introductions, credibility, and insight.

At Gato, you'll join a lean, high-impact team where every person's work is visible and meaningful. We're not a 10,000-person company where contributions disappear. Here, you'll see your code running in production for some of the world's most demanding financial institutions.
Our culture is built on autonomy, accountability, and intellectual curiosity. We hire experienced professionals who take ownership of problems end-to-end, and we give them the tools and freedom to solve them.
We invest in our people with benefits that support your health, growth, and life outside of work.
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family. Plus mental health support and wellness stipends.
Work from our New York office, remotely, or a hybrid of both. We trust our people to deliver from wherever they do their best work.
Annual learning budgets, conference sponsorships, and mentorship programs to help you grow your career and skillset.
Flexible paid time off plus company-wide recharge days. We believe rest fuels creativity and performance.
Work with clients and markets across the U.S., Middle East, and emerging economies. Travel opportunities for client engagements.
Competitive salary packages with equity participation. Share in the upside as we grow together.
This is the only position we are actively hiring for today. General applications for engineering, product, compliance, and business development are reviewed year-round, and new roles are posted here when they open.

Gato builds the systems broker-dealers, proprietary trading firms, and hedge funds run their order flow, risk controls, regulatory reporting, and back-office operations on. The work is unusually direct: an engineer here ships into order routing paths, pre-trade risk checks, CAT and CAIS submissions, and settlement workflow, where correctness is measured by whether a client's day goes normally.
That shapes how the team operates. Engineers own their surface area end to end rather than handing specifications across a wall; implementation and product people sit with clients and bring real constraints back rather than filtered requirements; and domain knowledge is treated as something you build deliberately, not something you either have or do not. Hiring is deliberate and role by role: one position is open right now, and we keep general applications on file for engineering, product, implementation, product support, and go-to-market, in the New York area, remotely, and hybrid.
Engineering across low-latency order routing, FIX connectivity, and back-office workflow; product and implementation roles that sit with broker-dealer clients; product support; and go-to-market roles in a market where domain knowledge matters more than headcount.
It helps, but it is not a hard requirement for engineering roles.
We have hired strong distributed-systems and workflow engineers with no trading background and taught them the domain; the reverse — market knowledge without engineering depth — is harder in an engineering seat.
All three.
We have an office presence in the New York area and team members working remotely across regions, and we hire for the arrangement that lets someone do their best work rather than a fixed policy.
An introductory conversation, a technical or domain discussion appropriate to the role, a practical exercise drawn from real problems rather than puzzles, and a conversation with someone you would work alongside.
We aim to give a decision quickly rather than leave candidates waiting.
